so long sweet summer journal pages

I just had my last big summer bash out in the Hamptons this past weekend. Back in the city I had time to reflect on the fall collections and iron out the details of my fall wardrobe prospects. To further complicate matters, the focus is on fashion week, so my mind is already in September. Summer is officially over for me, for better or worse. Summer is my favorite season, but I have a sore throat, my mind has wandered into fall territory, so with the exception of a few end of summer sample sales it is highly unlikely that I will be enjoying very much of the end of the season. Scorin cheap(er) designer duds does put a smile on my face, but it isn't enough to bring my summer back to life.
