I took these photos on Christmas morning outside my grandparent's house in Iowa. They have such a calm & serene quality to them. It is such a contrast to my daily life in New York that I thought I would share them.








P.S. my 27th birthday is coming up on Saturday January 10th, I am planning to make that my first photo for my 365 project! Hopefully I will be able to keep it up for a year! More on that later!

Today It Snowed

Why winter decided to pummel NYC just when we were preparing for the end of February and the beginning of SPRING I will never know...









I'm glad I snapped these photos this morning (even though it was still snowing), because it RAINED and now there is only a slushy mess.




(Also, there was a shooting RIGHT outside my building, they haven't caught the guy, and even though I typically don't carry thousands of dollars (or even hundreds of dollars), I am terrified to leave...snow or no snow. Ahhh, just another day at the office. :))
