Cool sandcastle village..and beautiful artwork!
I forgot about sandcastles - yes I used to love making them too, thank you for reminding me of this aspect of childhood games, its lovely!
i love this! she's adorable, her position and everything!
Wonderfully fun artwork...
Makes me want to plop right next to her with my own little bucket. There's nothing like relaxing next to your creation with the waves lapping in the background, yes?
:-)
Sandcastles are one of my favorite structures too! I was lucky enough once to live in a house built to look like a sandcastle on a beach in California...everyone calls it 'The Sandcastle!'...enjoying your wonderful art brought back a lot of great memories! THX.
I had the great pleasure of building sandcastles this summer with my 2 1/2 year old grandson....AND YES!!!! YES!! This picture captures the facial expression of one working and the ever so SANDCASTLE SQUAT! TERRIFFIC
You capture so much "mood" in your drawings...it makes me feel like I'm seeing her myself. love this one...she looks a little wistful.
I think sandcastles are a cornerstone in everyone's childhood. I love the way you portrayed the girl's feet in the sand.
This is lovely. Looks like loads of fun.
This says it all. Beautiful !!
I can't even remember the last time I built a sand castle. And that is a sad thing. A drawing that is also therapeutic and playful. :)
Delightful painting -- brings back wonderful memories! And that purple polka dot bikini is the perfect touch!
